Agriculture + Wildlife

Description:

Acknowledging the relationship among agricultural land and practices, wildlife habitat and human habitation, we’ve been fortunate to be involved with multiple projects in rural and semi-rural northern New Mexico areas for more than a decade.

Along with robust community partnerships, in-kind and monetary match contributions, the federal funds we’ve garnered have had long-term beneficial impact.

Deep gratitude to the El Guique, Ohkay Owingeh and La Resolana communities, as well as USDA/NRCS EQIP and USFWS Partners for Wildlife programs.

WATER_GreyWater300glTank

300-gallon tank to collect grey water from residence. This tank as well as a rainwater harvesting tank installed at another resident’s property, provide primary sources of irrigation for 200+ native trees and shrubs we installed along slopes at La Resolana Partners project.
