Respite Blue

Description:

A wonderfully rewarding project in Palo Alto, California during stressful times of drought. Santa Clara County provided significant monetary incentives to remove water consumptive lawns, plant xeric native plants and install a simple grey water system.

Transformed from a conventional lawn with bordering ornamental perennials, this refreshed front yard invites neighborhood interaction with an open “peekaboo” screen or subtle privacy with screen closed.
