POPULUS/Populace
We designed and are in the midst of educational workshops with local youth from three counties exploring our Rio Grande watershed. The Rio Grande Cottonwood (Populus) and our human (populace) relationship to, use of and valuing or devaluing the watershed.
Workshops utilize 3D model designed and crafted by Christie Green to show seasonal changes in watershed and health of Cottonwoods in relationship to seasonal fluctuations of human consumption of water.
Participants create their own 3D art pieces to express ideas about our relationship to the watershed.
